So I first became interested in dentistry at a young age, just due to my personal experience, my childhood, with dentistry. I needed a lot of work, a lot of time in that chair in my childhood, and this just made it easy and fun and comfortable.
I've always just really enjoyed that aspect of it that patients can come in, super anxious, but really we try our best to make them comfortable and realize that this is a great option to get them that healthy smile. I've always just strived for that.
That's one of the best things about becoming a dentist is helping people get out of discomfort if they need to, or just change that smile and make them more confident if that's something that they're looking for too.
I think the most rewarding part of dentistry is definitely helping people when they come in. If they're in discomfort or they're just wanting to change something about their smile, being able to get that to them, pretty instantaneously. So that's really nice, to have that instant gratification where, the cosmetic side of it, if they just want to change their smile, and that really helps them with confidence.
I went to undergrad at Texas A&M University in College Station, and then came here to Dallas, to Baylor College of Dentistry and decided to stay in the Dallas area.
