Dr. Danling Yu was born in China and immigrated to the U.S. at a young age with her family. She grew up in various states in the midwest region. She’s always been interested in healthcare and working on art projects with her hands.
Dr. Yu earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Michigan. After graduation, she then pursued her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Dr. Yu decided to move away from the Midwest after dental school and settled in Dallas, Texas. There she met her husband, who is an orthodontist, and they have called Dallas home ever since.
As a practicing dentist, Dr. Yu frequently attends continuing education courses to further advance her clinical skills. She is on the board of the Dallas Asian Dental Association. She is also a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Texas Dental Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Yu likes to stay active, explore new restaurants, and spend time with family and friends.
